An Android piano tuner using FFT pitch analysis and a strobe display

KotlinAndroidFFT

Overview

A piano tuner with a strobe display: the ring stands still only when the note is dead in tune.

Microphone audio goes through an FFT-based pitch analyzer, and the result steers a stroboscopic view: a ring of blocks that rotates at a rate proportional to how far off the pitch is in cents, with direction showing sharp or flat.

The tuner covers the piano's full range from A0 to C8, with an adjustable A4 reference (440 Hz default) and either auto nearest-note or manual target selection. This is an early project.
